Tidy house; Tidy Mind

A tidy house is a tidy mind. Pick up the little pieces and find peace underneath it. Cracks and crevasses imbedded with Zen settled in. Once purified we can find the where’s and why’s. I find mine long before 9 am. Cleaning again as I always do. I must be thorough; scour the house for tidbits of dirt; I refurbish. Making the bed with care, whats here; whats there. All of the dishes sparkle clean and the drawers they are in. Desks and tables scrubbed to shine; of course cannot forget my shrine. A tidy house is a tidy mind.
As it is

Everything was as it was meant to be
All the right words and all the right action had been done
Nothing was missing from the day
And nothing extra was added
Contentment in the moment
A spiritual guide had been placed
To teach and help you learn
For you to have a reason to keep going
For you to find peace.
Hagakure Quote. Ghost Dog.
Untitled
A meditation poem.

Each breath is a blessing, Resting your mind
Calming you and guiding you with ease
Every moment is taken with awareness of all sensations
Let the daily tasks of life become ones meditation
Always aware and returning to a breath of peace
If hungry? Eat. If tired? Sleep. Simplify life
For example… What possessions do we truly need?
To question is zen… To question is mindfulness
Ask yourself why one would cling to worldly possessions
But let not a possession cloud ones mind either
Return to your breath upon every reflection
To let go of ones worldly attachments will end the suffering
With everything being impermanent, why attach?
Choosing to move on with mindfulness and peace
Think of others and what you may have to offer them for their needs
A childhood saying… Do unto others what you wish done unto you
And after that thought, we return to the breath once again…
In… and out…
Focusing on the breath, let your thoughts come and go,
Do not dwell on them
Let the thought go…
In… and out…
A prayer ….

Walking this path I count my steps
Carefully count my breaths
Walking straight and mindful
Vowing to bring fourth kindness
Drawing another breath I focuss
The simple motions
Eliminating negative emotions
Om nami padme hum
Loving living lotus compassion
Grant me the needed wisdom to encapsul
So i may bring joy while my steps
Carefully counting every breath

How do they not see
The love and compassion
As the world crumbles
