In my search, for likeminded, a hastily search which I regret rushing through, I came across a monk but,more of a 21st century monk ( very outspoken ). Quite digital of a way to cross paths but yet very real, casually speaking at first but eventually ; Too real to handle while unsteady or unbalanced not admittedly so.
I told him “I am studying Buddhism.” Shortly after , He told me… “when you find the Buddha kill him,”
Baffled.
Questioning this quickly in my mind and Frightened was my initial reaction. Leaving the statement behind in haste; not looking back.
This was disturbing, a disturbing Koan in a form of statement, and as to why he told me took me months to understand what I thought was to be very dark.
Months passed,I had been cold, homeless, in and out of sanity, In love and in war with myself and others.But eventually I found a home; a place to study. January 1st 2016
A light was tossed into this deep catacomb of the statement, I am so blind! I concentrated on my breath and within seconds fell to sleep peacefully. But, what is important is that I don’t understand / didn’t understand and will never fully understand. “When you find the Buddha, kill him.”

Buddhism and the teachings of dharma /noble truths.

Undeniably; a way I choose to study, follow, practice and teach. Buddha attained the key to enlightenment and nirvana through meditation and through the dharma (teachings) and a lifetime in search for truths to life’s suffering. The selflessness and humble ideology touches my soul and brings me happiness. Understanding and accepting noble truths is a daily study. Spreading Buddhist teachings is a rewarding and creative outlet for this lifetime I have been given.

Simplicity and positivity are of good essence, not to be confounded by the vast energies of this world, but to be one with them ; Being reborn to learn the dharma (teachings) once again. Finding peace in the chaos and make the world a better place for human beings and any living creature.

Teaching
Spreading the teachings of the dharma. To be self aware of your actions, and working daily to be more useful. Practicing meditation and studying koans are a part of Buddhist teachings: Koans are questions, put fourth for you to seek and learn it’s purpose and answer with your own spirit. Constantly searching in oneself for the answers of life’s questions. Although I am a buddhist, Buddhism is not singular in a sense it is the “only” way of good. Embracing others religion and spirituality gracefully and others not judging is important.

Do good deeds, in the face of anger be neutral and when faced with pain be empathetic. Make your surroundings in a way as to nurture your inner Buddha. Cleanliness and flowing chi’. Do not be lazy, nor impolite ;sinful in nature. Be healthy, eating of animals is unacceptable After eating, clean. Avoid greed, anger in your heart heart nor live lustful for worldly things. Meditation and Zen I am attemping to make my home a partial “zendo”. A zendo is an empty place without pictures or furniture, for one to feel alone and undistracted, for one to meditate without distraction is important. Although you may not have an empty space, an area free of distractions can also act as a zendo. In my and in many people’s opinions there are not necessarily wrong ways to meditate. Do not expect certain feelings to arise, or disappear; it is the practice that is important. Concentrating on one’s breath one may become calmer during meditation.

Appreciate every moment; All cultures, people, amimals, creatures plants are intricately connected. Admire Respect all ways and religious practices as they too may be essences of good. Incorporate your Buddhism in all aspect of life. Be yourself y’all! We are all individual spiritual beings with different stories but connected to one universe. Make every day count for every step you take you may only take once.

Decades of Wisdom from the Wu. By Nina Yin Vestergaard
Growth, Spirituality and intensifying Stories. Is what comes to mind when I think of Wu Tang Clan. Still today I’m admiring them from “My borough” in Vancouver Canada.
Peace Salaam to the Abbott: Shokran Rza Thank you for all that you have done for me. “The dumb are mostly intrigued by the drum” was the case when I was 12 but I have grown up and am realizing / have realized the potential of myself; no longer scared of my own power and spirituality.
My tattoo of the Wu Tang with a lotus flower becomes more and more important in my life every day; located on my right ribcage where it is said Buddha’s mother was touched by the elephant to conceive him. The video made in Vancouver on the recent Wu tour by my friend Nardwaur and possibly my teacher Fred interviewing Rza in particular where you spoke of the lotus flower… you were speaking to me.
Wu Forever and 36 chambers as well as Killa Beez been were bought for me at an extremely young age. I bought “Digital bullets” a year later, playing the Wu Tang video game which I’d have my lil group of friends come play. I put a big Wu on the basketball hoop at my school and it remained there for many years.
A better tomorrow is the new shit but I’d like to talk about the book written by Rza : The Tao of Wu, it had many Zen type/ Buddhist type stories; true stories! Sories you learn from and have to really think about…and the chicken bone story I could feel on my teeth, or the sad yet heartwarming story about your family moving into the new hood and getting robbed and finding out why so much later down the road.
Rza speaks with peta and his views on being vegan was extremely powerful. These animals are stressed in captivity, when you eat that meat, your eating that stress,”. I appreciate your activism and outspoken attitudes that carries on forever. I recently bought a Quaran for something I’ve never read. Wu Tang got me back into using my time wisely, call me back at the God hour.
Throwing up the W….My birthday turning 21 I was watching Rza perform with Stone Mecca his upcoming album “Digi Snacks” plus all the wu classics in a small club in downtown Vancouver called Richard’s on Richards.. It was beautiful.
Can it all be simple was a song amount many others I was obsessively listening to and watching the videos. I also watched the home videos in the projects; Gunshots and homicide. Shaolin Island. Videos meth made talking about the corrupted world we living in and how we should be preparing ourselves.
But there’s another side… “Good night. Here’s a kiss. Sleep tight and make a wish… “Beautiful. I regard Rza as the best hip hop producer simply because of the talent and style that resonates in my soul.

A Buddhist monk who studied and meditated on the teachings of Buddha for over a decade wanted to speak with an enlightened one who dwelled alone in a small temple high in the mountains. He prepared for his journey eager to hear his teaching. After 7 days of rigorous hiking he reached the temple.
The master greeted him and welcomed him inside. The master put some tea on to boil and they sat in silence. The monk became very eager and unsettled in not hearing his teaching. The master poured the tea and sat with the monk. The monk didn’t drink his tea and began questioning his master of Buddha.
The master replied.. “You have studied Buddhism for 20 years and can not simply enjoy this cup of tea?” The monk wept…. as another step to enlightenment lay under his feet….

To live in and appreciate every step for as beautiful or as dark as it may be;

When Glorious Words are Spoken… There is Hope.
The story’s that give me hope and passion for life lies deeply in the struggles, story’s and words of others. I find that when I read or listen to an inspiring message I am lifted above the turbulence of planet earth. I can also find inspiration for hope in stories depicted in art forms such as paintings and music. I also see hope when I feel the presence of a higher spirit, the spirit within or the most high god or allah or jah, many have a different name for this believe, in which i see no danger in the difference in discussing spirituality in ones life. Let me guide you into a journey of words intended to inspire hope, passion and wisdom.
I quote Qadamawi Haile Selassie. “We must become something we have never been… and for which our education has ill prepared us. We must become bigger been: more courageous in spirit, larger in outlook. We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men within the community.” For the record Rastafarianism has played a large role in my hope for the future because of such wise words as this… I also quote His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I… “Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.” This quote hits home with me because it recognizes injustice and the possibility of change. Although we aren’t all word leaders we have the power to take action in our world in a positive way. I am highly against any derogatory statements of racism and once again quote His Imperial Majesty King Selassie… “I must say that black and white, as forms of speech, and as a means of judging mankind, should be eliminated from human society, human beings are precisely the same, whatever colour, race, creed or nationality they may be.”
It does not take a deep speech always to inspire hope that we all need in our lives, there are even singular words that I believe can inspire hope. Here are a few of my favourites… Unity, Peace, Love, Relaxation, Inspiration, Justice, Knowledge, Prosperity, Discovery, Positivity, Blessed, Truth, Respect, Trust, Honesty and Power. It can give great encouragement to have these meaningful singular words in our day to day life to distract us or eliminate the opposites to these positive words or values. I have noticed that positive words in my mind reflect my outlook on my every day. Even if i were just to say… “I’m Blessed” activates my brain to reflect on all that I have achieved and look forward to in life… I let these thoughts and words sink in and build upon what foundation I have already begun.
I would like to speak about strengths. Strengths are personal qualities and skills that we all have within us. It is a great feeling to rejoice in our strengths and in others strengths. Be proud of your strengths and recognize the strengths of the others that surround you. Perhaps individuals need motivation to realize and persue they’re strengths. I quote Huey P Newton of the Black Panthers…. “I think what motivates people is not great hate, but great love for other people.” This to me summarizes how to bring out the good in one another, motivate with love and by all means do not criticize with hate.
