If There Was Only Peace
I dream of a world where the youth can grow
Every answer is yes and the evil unknown
Rivers are healthy and so is the sky
Nobody worries about if we die
I dream that war is a mythical tale
Never experienced unthinkable hell
We dont eat meat; the animals are too sacred
At a certain age everyone is awakened
Two spirited and mental are no longer a flaw
In fact now they are given the medicinal jobs
I wake up this morning and bow on my knees
Oh this world… If Only There Was peace.
Ink therapy
It’s dark morning.
The time for rhyme therapy; my clarity
Climb out of disparity; hearing me
Write these words; observe purpose
Present moment is the service
Back again with a digital saturated pen
Micro ink blot.
Thank you my friend.
The universe grants me another day
Thankful and it’s never in vain
I’m finding peace here in the winters air
Northwest blessed
I’m feeling fresh and clear
Rise.
I die and rise again
The sweet escape
Light reigns on my life
From out of the darkness

Is run free even possible. Run? Free?
Occupying the same sentence but..
Polar opposites; Yet I combine them
Running down my street; fast as I can
The road ends; I’m met with water
So I dive in; truly running free
Weightless bliss and the world…
Is lifted off of my shoulders.

Good morning earth
And what will you bring me today
For you have given me too much
Spoiled rotten but I’m thankful
Welcoming the sunrise
With all of my soul
Lucky to be alive another day
Zen Tails; The Happiness Follows
An old cat once walked up on a younger cat that was chasing his tail. The old cat asked, “what are you doing?” The younger replied, I just found out that my happiness is in my tail. I’m going to catch it and be happy. The older cat laughed and said “I heard that too when I was your age. What I found though is that if I just go about my day doing what needs to be done my happiness just seems to follow me wherever I go.
Smile note.
I will love n smile when the rain begins to fall
And then I will love when the sun begins to shine
I’m going to appreciate that which is beautiful and simple
Like this moment as I type; And sip my warm coffee
Thankful to be alive and breathing
I don’t write to gain; but perhaps learn about myself and…
Just to be happy for that moment; look back at it and smile again
We don’t have time to fret; life is simply too short
So I am here; smiling for no particular reason
But it does
Boost endorphins.
