Tag Archives: Peace

A meditation poem.

Each breath is a blessing, Resting your mind

Calming you and guiding you with ease

Every moment is taken with awareness of all sensations

Let the daily tasks of life become ones meditation

Always aware and returning to a breath of peace

If hungry? Eat. If tired? Sleep. Simplify life

For example… What possessions do we truly need?

To question is zen… To question is mindfulness

Ask yourself why one would cling to worldly possessions

But let not a possession cloud ones mind either

Return to your breath upon every reflection

To let go of ones worldly attachments will end the suffering

With everything being impermanent, why attach?

Choosing to move on with mindfulness and peace

Think of others and what you may have to offer them for their needs

A childhood saying… Do unto others what you wish done unto you

And after that thought, we return to the breath once again…

In… and out…

Focusing on the breath, let your thoughts come and go,

Do not dwell on them

Let the thought go…

In… and out…

Here I am

In the dark of night I arise once again

To collect my thoughts I write with pen

Its about time I do this again

With no regrets where does this stem?

How long have I been in this place

My skyscraper oasis

Thousands of faces

As the city tells tales naked

Must be about a year now

I was losing my mind but Im here now

Nada to fear now

Its so clear now

Cool; calm; collected

Solemnly protected by my own perspectives

I walk with a thousand spirits

I can see; smell and hear this

They touch with a thousand arms to feel this

Samsara or nirvana

The Buddhist tibetan prayer flags on the top of mountain in Daocheng, Sichuan Province, Tibet of China.

I dream of the promise land; where peace abides

Mountains streamline across the sky

Prayer flags cross the trails on my path to freedom

I am given help along my jouney

Compassion for all the sentient beings on earth

This is my path and it was always meant for me

Rebirth; Samsara

Or a heavenly Nirvana

Buddha poem

Eyes transfixed on Buddha

I chant in Sanskrit

Return to center and emit a white light

Transmit across the atlas

Slow my breathing

Completely enveloped in my practice

Place the candles lit

Offerings for the path I follow

Bowing to them; I’m very thankful

For yesterday, today, tommorow

Close my eyes and listen

My karmatic conditions

Meditating a vision

Peace, love and forgiveness

Now; did I inherit

My past lifes merit

I feel blessed; until my death

I must share it

Thank you universe

Thank you for my buddha nature

Thank you for food and shelter

Thank you for now;

Thank you for later.

Natural… Dedicated to A.E.

unnamed.jpg

Pop you in my mouth like a freshly picked strawberry

Love you with my heart and soul with longevity

Sew us intertwined natural like the vines that grow

And we will grow together and learn and know together

We comfort each other like soul food

Complement each other souls because we know good; and evil

Two different people with similar unique features

Under a ravens wings we are the earths creatures

Some thing sacred awaits us and waits to awake inside us

Nothing that mother earth cannot birth and provide us

I see you and you see eye

Love you without limits and beyond the skies.

Meditating

trickster-19-makoto-meditating-pajamas-bloomers-calm-maybe_shes_asleep.jpgGaining some insight when meditation is in flight

Self subjection who is I; Reflections

I’m many interchanging atoms that rebuilds the self

Intertwined; its likes to rewind as well

Look to the future; obtuse obscured view

I’m in me and everything I see and hear is in me

In between the nuerons and in between the ears

All of my flaws and blessing and alternate settings

My lifes and dislikes that change daily; like memories fading

I am ever-changing

As I sit

Meditating.

The Bloom of a Virus

tumblr_mi61lrbWY11qfzc51o1_500[1]

Strange to find peace in this now; but here I am

Fond of change like autumn leaves blow breeze

Present tense; change strange and evident

But Im here aware wide awake stare; im just

Without care

Blessing to the ill who have fallen to the will of nature

My stature is forever patient

Statistics stream like star streams

Yet I sit and day dream in between the lines of these times

Finesse caress; these rhymes

Feminine forever ancient Egyptian feline

Who wanders without worry and skurrys playful

It is simple nature; take this and embrace this

We all must simply awaken and face this

Together harmonious; our ways were felonious

Learn to love and love to learn a new path

When they see a new you like whos THAT

Forever remaining in a change and I thank god for this change that is raining…

Down upon us.

Midnight.

I awaken as the night sky pours on the concrete

Moonlight cascades the mountain ranges and trees

A quietness and stillness as the darkness explores

It is serene and void of the daylights abrubt

Here is where anything is possible and the unreal comes to life

The animals  no longer hide; roaming the terrain

The fox; wolf; racoons; coyotes; owls and bears

I feel as if a visitor in this time and place and I respect it

I respect its sacredness and its divine still

While streetlights flicker along the cascading streets

Not a sound and not a movement nor passing cars

All is still yet I know it is very much alive

When I awaken to the nights sky
