Do you have the patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself? The master doesn’t seek fulfillment. Not seeking…

Where the ocean breeze sifts through our garden
And the old walnut trees drape over our cottage home
Where you can lay and listen to a Dragon spitting in fountain
Rocking you into a sleepy bliss
And there isn’t a single car going by
Where my cat hunts all day or sunbathes in the grass
And I can take a break from the city
Lush and green is as far as the eye can see; mountains along the ocean
Where my youthful imagination bloomed
And where I was when responsibility didn’t exist
The rain tatters along the vast leaves and flowers often in this rainforest
I’m here to say hello
And also say goodbye.

I didn’t have the typical story of knowing I was a girl at a very young age. I grew into it naturally like a new pair of shoes. It’s exciting to me; everyday is exiting to get dressed and do my makeup and be me! It’s beautiful. The days spent out or the days shut in…. they represent me and they represent freedom. I am not the transgender girl complaining about the surrounding world, I am the lucky one passing day by the ”Practically” unscathed. Practically but most definitely not entirely. Imma keep stomping on. .

The words are too sharp
Shuttering my soul
My eyes wide as the moon
Calling to the night to save me
With no answer replied
Like a knife gliding along my vertebrae
Defenseless against my own self doubt
Every minute every moment longer than the last
Glimpsing in astonishment; the utter darkness of my mind
Terrified in disgust
I’m trembling in my
Menacing vibrations
That I created
I can’t take this anymore
Finishes the poem*
Nina
I love you
You’re priceless
Priceless as the stars in the sky
Priceless is the glimmer in your eyes
I love you like the sun loves the moon
Love you as the flowers bloom
As I write this poem to you
I always wait patiently
But You can never come too soon.

They are perfect in their harmonious balance
Right place, right time
At peace as we
Look back or forward or dwell in the present
Gracefully guided
Seemingly endless in their playful ways
Although….
Sometimes you wanted to leave this world;
Body and mind
Far to strenuous to take
But it was not in vain, Oh no
It was all perfectly positioned
Leading to where I say “Everything happened for the specific reason”.
Leading me
To these moments
Of manifested
Clarity
