When I Die – Nina

I want graffiti chiseled on my tombstone

I want a BBQ  for a funeral

Throw some vinyls in my casket

Know that I died doing whatever made me happy

Don’t cry a bit

My life was nice kid…

Pour your self a drink and be happy;

My life LIVED

Whatever art n possessions I got

Not a lot…

Donate them to a charity

Including my organs before they bury me

Life is good and death is never scaring me

See you in the next life

Or wherever we may be…

Just give me a pen… Ascend.

Words cut like a knife, embedded n sewn like thread

Bled out poems so I’m light in the head

Here’s the bread.

Whether or not you can weather the hot

Cold, Bold,

Only know what we’re told, it’s

The lives that we know…

I reign down like a thunderstorm…

Tattering Windows on your screen

What’s she coming for?

It’s left unsaid.

We all change faces, n stages, it’s amazing

To look back where we came from

The fate of… ya

“State of mind”…

Time and time again

We find and; (REMIND)

To Catch a moment of bliss…

Sublime n here’s a…

Northern monopoly (I survived) on the concrete. – Freestyle Slam Poetry Over Nujabes Poetry Reading by Goodnightnina

How could I feel ; Its all so real ; Pain;

Embeds my brain. And. How could that…

Be. They’re;

Piling up the dead bodies.

In Bulletproof hotel lobbies

Insites where a nurse shoot-up-your-down properly

Northern monopoly

Its flooded. In an open air drug market;

Remarkable profit; Sub tropicals chronic

Users, abusers, thugged out losers.

Breathe…. She…

Breathed her last breath in the alleyway;

She ran away as a kid

And…

It sad to say… The streets a trap;

Praying on the weakest.. Link

We brinked;

The highest H.I.V. rate

I write rhymes…Cause I survived…

And. Time Flies…

On the concrete.

Poem: Forward — by Jak’s View of Vancouver v.3

Poem: Forward…

The forked tongue of the future lies ahead

Beckoning us forward. Advance! Progress!

Regardless of the perils and our dread

Of failure, ever onward must we tread.

And no matter how much we feel the stress,

The forked tongue of the future lies ahead.

And whether we fly the black flag or red,

The same indignations we must address

Regardless of the perils and our dread:

The starving masses, children barely fed;

And even for those who have even less

The forked tongue of the future lies ahead.

So throw away your doubts; let us instead

Rejoice in future’s coming, and impress —

Regardless of the perils and our dread —

Our generation’s mark. Let it be said

We lived, loved, built, and understood that, yes,

The forked tongue of the future lies ahead

Regardless of the perils and our dread.
