We were labeled as pagans
Working in mines past the ages
No wage; Simple and plain
Human rights? Disdained them…
Sent to slave labor camps
Passports taken
“entrapt”
But whispers shared
Dared a final snare…
At last the rebellion
Stallions ride.
Swords drawn,
Blood fall.
The streetlights flickered out
Ousted the corrupted snouts.
Too many centuries
Come and past…
At last
The fall of the Ziggurat…

VRY WRM x Rime – Graffiti Mural Video
Infamous graffiti artist Rime MSK recently teamed up with VRY WRM to create a reversible bomber jacket. The jacket which has one side as simple black as another side of a graffiti piece created by the famous New Jersey artist. The work that’s featured on the garment was also documented in video with Rime talking about his process overtop. Take a look at the gear and video below.

My nickname is Shade
And I carry with me; many sides.
Growing up they diagnosed me as many things.
They said I was attention deficit. They said I was oppositional defiant They said I was bipolarThey said I was scitzophrenic
And now I am being treated for borderline personality disorder
Its true that I carry these faces and sides like masks hidden beneath the surface. How fitting.
My nickname is shade.
My scitzo effective side terrifies me. My bipolar side is attracted to danger and substance. I am naturally defiant. I am often hyper-active… And they say I am one with borderline personality disorder.
They say that someone with borderline personality disorder can be dangerous. Because we tend to snap in an instant. For me in some cases this is true…
In one instance; stopped by police I pulled my weapon on them! I snapped. Luckily I was not shot…
Where am I going with this….
I carry these faces and sides.
They hide beneath and hide below.
Where did they come from? I do not know…
They hide until the perfect moment.

Return To Art; I built A Mini Zen Garden
I am always updating the little shrine in my living room. I had some sand from my visit to red rock nevada in a jar for over 12 years and finally had a very good use for it. I unscrewed an old wooden art box that held paints, pencil crayons, markers and pastels and filled it up with the sand. Placing buddha inside of a lotus in the centre 🙂 ….
As I continue on my mission for a Fung Shui home I hope this fire element zen garden can bring me some positivity.

Break from poetry back to art day one: A portrait of a young Buddha.
My girlfriend found a big shelf in the alley months ago and looked at me. “Nina you should draw something on this”.
Why not? – I thought; recycled art is right up my alley. My mom had requested that I paint her a portrait of Buddha for her recently purchased home.
I had forgotten this massive shelf awaiting for me in the closet until a few days ago when I decided that ITS RETURN OF THE ARTS. And… I decided to do a speed painting.
Paint your subject as fast as you possibly can! This was the result of my speed painting and although it is far too large for my mother’s liking. Buddha can watch over me from his shrine in my living room.
I love what I created.
