Souls pass through here often
Cold and lonesome
Time is a killer
Daunting me

Freedom isn’t “Out There,”.
It’s “In here.”…
My spirit rising
Lifting
No one can see my smile
Nobody knows that I closed my eyes
Left this place
The cell is quiet…
Dead
But not me.
I’m Free
