The rambling concrete – Nina

I’m beautiful with Audacity, “They call you Shade?!” He said. ” You’re shaded indeed…”. She’s nice with the raps. In depth, the homies in disguise he liked to say…

I’m up many hours before the sunrise to explore myself. Dreaming of fleeting escape, no longer trapped. The raindrops scatter my city and it won’t be long before I’m unseen in the masses; trainbound. You don’t need fare for the Zion train just hop on board.

I’m beautiful with audacity indeed. I love my markers and spray paint; my skateboard and my slap sticker collection of winking flowers and dripping calligraphy. My magnum markers leave them to manage the damage; I’m constantly redecorating the City.

I’ve found my comfort in the dark places and euphoric ignorance. Through the streets and alleyways, trains and buses. I watch this shit twists and turns over many years amongst this science of drug trade…

Dream Poetry – Nina

The wandering subconscious;

Abstract and poetic symphony

Into the depths of mystery

Taking me away; departing once again

My dreamcatcher bends time and unravels the other realm

I don’t know where I am going this time…

And this time…

The only time…

When time is irrelevant; non existent

Hymms of darkness; I listen.

Kaleidescope focussed

Eyes closed; I see everything that was once unnoticed

My existence is reminiscent but non-concrete

Like a blindfolded painter; blind unknown

But residing in an Oasis

My life formed a basis

When I close my eyes; its realized my mind designed

All of these creations.

So I arise from the depths each morning and rejoyce

Answer the phone

And hear my lovers voice

So happy to be alive

I have no other choice.

She was the emotional type, Unsure if she’ intro or extroverted.

She didn’t know if she wanted to volunteer or do crime ;at times it’s worth it.

She didn’t know if the world is real, standing still, if she’d grown up ,or was still just a kid.

She didn’t know if she’s good or bad, happy or sad and she REALLY never knew all the things that she had.

It’s because she didn’t know that she continued to grow.

Searching for answers.

That she never would know.

Keystyle freestyle writing. – Nina

I don’t know what to write. Impose a rule on myself to just compose and type

; like I suppose your right. Here it goes; in flight.

Im not complaining simply explaining that a lot of my days are draining me driving me insanely, plain to see that my mind is somewhat aimlessly;and broken.

I wish I was calmer are more soft spoken.

My girlfriend says I was in a better place mentally when I was living in the homeless shelter.

Shes right; its like I do better surrounded by… lives like mine but whatever.

Now is the only moment; so: hold it…

I Do not condone any of my past it’s already done so don’t quote it.

Each one of us passes through these situations however some of us win, they are victors, and they succeed not because they try to make a difference but because they are destined to. Destiny is like a child born in the middle of World War II in a small town being crushed to the ground, his mother swallowed by the inevitable while the fragile wins his life. We do say that we create our destiny but it is always there waiting for us to embrace it through a set of actions that we will make. Our every choice is towards it, no matter how much despairing or hopeful, great or petty it maybe.

Walking Meditation

Tashi Nyima's avatarGreat Middle Way

Walking meditation is a bridge between formal sitting meditation and informal meditation in everyday activities. It is also useful if you want to meditate for long periods continuously. Alternating sitting and walking provides a way to relieve the stress on your body without ever leaving meditation entirely. Walking also serves as an antidote to both the tiredness and restlessness that can obstruct meditation.

Walking meditation is easiest in a quiet place without distractions or obstacles. An empty room large enough to walk in circles is suitable. Even better is an unobstructed natural setting, such as a park. Walking meditation is valuable but more difficult in an urban setting.

Walk with your eyes looking downwards at about 45 degrees, but keep the head upright. Allow your gaze to move smoothly over the ground, rather than jumping from one point to the next. This is much easier if you allow your eyes…
