Fall of The Ziggurat.

We were labeled as pagans

Working in mines past the ages

No wage; Simple and plain

Human rights? Disdained them…

Sent to slave labor camps

Passports taken

“entrapt”

But whispers shared

Dared a final snare…

At last the rebellion

Stallions ride.

Swords drawn,

Blood fall.

The streetlights flickered out

Ousted the corrupted snouts.

Too many centuries

Come and past…

At last

The fall of the Ziggurat…

Silliness.

They said I couldn’t have my cake… and eat it too.

Clearly they did not know… How to consume food.

——-

She was so full of such silliness.

The silliness was baffling.

An astounding amount of silliness

An incomprehensible silliness

A silliness that surpassed the sands of time

Forever and ever and ever…

Was the silliness…

…

Anyways, want some cake!?

Misty Rain on Mt. Lu – Su Tung-P’o

“Misty rain on Mount Lu,
and waves surging in Che-chiang.
When you have not yet been there,
many a regret surely you have;
but once there and heading homeward,
how matter-of-fact everything looks!
Misty rain on Mount Lu,
and waves surging in Che-chiang.”
