Here comes the rain

Dark rain clouds filling the sky,
Gathering together in one place,
Darker as more clouds,
Joined the others,
Reunions of friendship,
Long time in coming.

Joyous celebrations,
As more rain clouds arriving,
Laughter of seeing old friends,
Rumbling deeply across the sky,
Thunderous laughter can be heard,
Below upon the world,
Where humans dwells,
Flashes of lightning,
Sudden flashes over the sky,
Uncontrollably happiness,
Accidently releasing with burst,
Pure happiness being reunited,
With friends of old.

Darker making the sky darker,
As more continues to join in,
Darker as more friends showed up,
Filling all the spaces of the sky,
Affecting the world below,
Covering with it’s shadows,
A trickle begins the reunion,
Droplets of rain falling down,
Signalling the party has begun,
Gradually flowing steadily,
Pouring down upon the world,
Drenching, soaking everything,
Washing away the dirt,
Making everything fresh,

The abstract thoughts relevant to concrete form; everything is connected making the magic very real

Submerged in self awareness yet profoundly connected in imaginative design and inclinations creating and manifesting its form

Dreams and reality are not so far apart; both created by the mind and collected in the mind to be analyzed and articulated

What today may bring is up to me as well as the destiny

We’ll have to work together or bound in self destruction

I can make today whatever I want it to be

Setting Destiny Stones for me to walk upon with grace

Or they could tower over me; an abrupt fate

Creating overwhelming fear in my heart

But if I choose to take destiny

Fate and future into my hands

I know I can surely manifest

Stepping stones upward on this journey into tomorrow

Into the sky with my dreams once again.

Two minutes, before I Run Free or Die

This poem plays a huge role for me as a writer; The movie Slam resonated deep inside me. This is just one of the poems in the movie…

My back is against a brick wall
I got a Mack truck two inches from MY FACE!!
Well run free baby, run now
It just looks hard, but it would be, SOOO easy
Just turn around and go!
Clip all the wires, hook-ups and hangups
And then you’re HOME FREE
You can give birth, to an excuse so easily
You’ll believe it’s always been there
While the natural order made-to-order
By your forever clever MIND
CONSTANTLY protecting you against things
You no longer need to be protected FROM!
AND I, BELIEVE!
I believe like a holy roller
Singing sweaty preaching Go Tell It On The Mountain
While speaking in twenty different tongues and diving
In ten thousand feet of baptismal water
Without a life preserver
I believe like my bullet-ridden brother
Out there somewhere RIGHT NOW
Gurgling blood through his LAST BREATH
Spitting out a red bright prayer
So new, so sweet, so baby fresh
So full of truth he thinks he can save his life!

God does not exist in desperation
And Hope is lying dead, somewhere in the sewer
Down the street around the corner in the alley
Underneath the feet of somebody
ITCHING SCRATCHING TREMBLING
JONES’N for that next hit and suckin somebody’s dick!

Got two minutes y’all
I got TWO MOTHERFUCKIN MINUTES
Before I run free or die, y’all!
Two minutes…
Before I, smash my face into the grill of a Mack truck
Before I get, ten thousand bricks shoved up my ass
Before I, RUN, FREE OR DIE.
